The Hodges Connect Foundations of Dental Assistant Program will give you the foundational knowledge and skills needed to get started in the high-demand field of Dental Assisting. According to Career Onestop , Dental Assisting is anticipated to grow 23% by 2026 in Florida.
This dental assistant training program teaches the role and responsibilities in caring for dental patients. As a dental assistant you are most often the first person a patient encounters. You have an important role in building confidence, trust, and creating a professional environment for your patients.
You will learn the basic procedures performed in dental offices. As a valued team member, you will be ready for many of the responsibilities in infection control, maintaining patient privacy, basic assisting responsibilities, and office management. You will receive the basic OSHA and HIPAA training as well as earning the CPR/AED certification.
Cost: $1199 (textbook, CPR, and equipment included)
The program is 6 weeks long on Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM on our campus.
