The decision to attend Hodges was an easy one for her.
“Hodges was my first choice. The first step is the hardest, but I sent that email and they responded so fast,” she said. “Erlis (Abazi, Director of Recruitment) was so nice and talked with me about what I wanted to do. I signed up that day for the accounting program. Everyone at Hodges is so helpful. The professors are right there and they give you their number so you can contact them.”
Six months following her life-changing visit to Hodges, Diana earned a promotion from receptionist to accounting clerk at Germain BMW. Her goal is to graduate in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business. From there, she’s thinking about getting her master’s degree in accounting, becoming a CPA, and starting her own business.
“I want my children to be proud of their Mom achieving a goal. Anything’s possible. If you have the will to study to get an education,” she said.
