Hodges University is a member of NC-SARA, or the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements . NC-SARA provides national leadership over the reciprocity agreements for distance education regulation among U.S. member states. NC-SARA makes it easier for students to take online courses offered by post secondary institutions based in another state. Current authorized SARA member states include the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and all states except California.
Prospective students who reside outside of the state of Florida and are interested in a Hodges University online program which may lead to a professional licensure/certification should contact the applicable state credentialing authority in their home state to familiarize themselves with its specific requirements and determine if Hodges University’s program meets its eligibility criteria. Hodges University cannot guarantee whether a program meets requirements for professional licensure/certification in states other than Florida. For academic complaints/grievances, out-of-state distance education students are expected to follow the applicable policies (Student Rights and Responsibilities and The Student Grievance Policy) that are published in the Hodges University student handbook. Online learning/distance education students may initiate a complaint via email to onlinelearning@hodges.edu.
